Castle wedding in Scotland at Birkhill

Alessandra and Paul’s Elegant Castle wedding in Scotland at Birkhill Castle near Cupar was an absolute beauty of a day!

This lovely Scottish/Aussie couple had originally booked for 2020 but you know, the World had other ideas! But fast forward to September 2022 and with a beautiful new addition to the family, they and their extended families and friends rocked up to the shores of the River Tay near Cupar to this wonderful historic Scottish Baronial Home to celebrate. And they did in style!

It was such a buzz from the minute we arrived, the build up during prep through to the ceremony and dancing, the energy was bubbling right up until the sparklers were lit in the evening and the party kicked off. A great bunch of fun-loving people.

The ceremony was conducted by Neil Lynch (and his sidekick Tanni the Spaniel) with some emotional readings from Paul and Alessandra and some nice Scottish traditional elements tucked in there too with the Quaich and the Hand-fasting.

After a long wait it was so good to see them having such a blast and enjoying their day, the weather even payed nicely too.

The Castle and its surrounding areas are stunning and we did a good job of exploring the grounds for the couple shoot.Wandering between the fern and the trees.
