Outdoor Wedding in Scotland

Catriona and Hok flew in from Australia and married at Bachilton Barn in Perthshire. A beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding in Scotland. Elopements in Scotland tend to go ahead outdoors regardless of the weather but weddings are mostly held indoors due to the unreliable nature of our Scottish climate. It aawas so cool then for these two to have their families and friends all together under clear skies. With the wedding party sitting in between the trees and next to a shimmering pond for their Humanist ceremony.

There was a super chilled feel on the day, Justyna and I were so welcomed by Cat and Hok’s family and friends we almost felt like guests! The Aussie beer was flowing and laughter was infectious as the wedding party mingled and partied their way all the way through into the evening. After some hilarious and also very touching speeches everyone gathered in the barn as the tunes kicked off the reception. I m sure the party raged on into the wee small hours.A sweet day with a cool couple at this beaut of a barn venue in rural Scotland.
